Maintenence Tips

1. Lace and Organza Care:

• Avoid Snagging: Be careful when wearing and handling the chemise to avoid snagging the lace or organza on jewelry or other sharp objects.
• Do Not Iron Directly: If ironing is absolutely necessary, use a very low heat setting and iron the chemise inside out. Place a thin pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric.
• Steam (Preferred): Steaming is a much safer option for removing wrinkles from organza and lace.   

2. General Tips:

• Handle with Care: Remember that this is a delicate garment. Treat it with care to prolong its lifespan.
• Avoid Perfumes and Lotions: Perfumes and lotions can stain or damage delicate fabrics. Apply these products before putting on the chemise.   
• Inspect Regularly: Check the chemise regularly for any signs of damage, such as loose threads or tears.

3. Handwashing is Essential:

• Cool Water: Fill a basin or sink with cool or lukewarm water. Hot water can damage the delicate fibers and lace. 
• Mild Detergent: Use a very gentle detergent specifically designed for delicates, or a mild baby shampoo. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.   
• Gentle Swishing: Submerge the chemise in the soapy water and gently swish it around. Do not rub or scrub, as this can damage the lace and organza.
• Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the chemise with cool, clean water until all soap residue is removed.
